An exciting opportunity exists for an Estimating Administrator at Cobra Electric Services Ltd. This is a full-time, entry-level position based in Port Kells, B.C.
Cobra Electric Ltd. now known as Cobra Electric Services Ltd. is a full-service traffic management and lighting systems company providing maintenance services to public and private sectors in the B.C. Lower Mainland.
Cobra Electric has been serving municipal, commercial, and industrial clients throughout the Lower Mainland, for 36 years. The company provides street lighting, traffic and intersection electrical maintenance both on call and annual contract.
The successful candidate shall have the following key qualities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Adobe PDF).
- Completion of post-secondary accounting courses is preferred.
- Recognized for positive outlook and enthusiastic attitude.
- Demonstrates a conscientious mindset – Committed to doing the best job possible within a given deadline.
- A team player with eagerness to “pitch in” whenever required with an Excellent “can-do” attitude.
- Keen interest in learning new things and an openness to new ideas/concepts.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Strong planning, calendaring, and organizing skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem assessment and solving skills.
- Proficient in information gathering and monitoring.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Providing support to other staff.
- Perform administrative tasks within the Estimating office.
- Proactively ensure clients are well informed of their project status, address any schedule problems, reschedule repairs as needed, and share best practices.
- Document correspondence with clients and related activities for each project.
- Assist with documenting new features and functions related to system enhancements or modifications.
- Oversee and manage tasks related to project completion.
- Schedule traffic control personnel for the Loop crews and other crews in the organization.
- Assist with customer account setup and verification of customer relationships with Cobra Electric.
